Vera Lewis was named chief development officer (CDO) of the nonprofit Foundation for Black Women’s Wellness (FFBWW), according to Madison365. Lewis started her new role on Aug. 5 and has experience in marketing, communications, and fund development.
Lewis’ career includes nonprofit, corporate, and association leadership spanning more than 15 years. In her role as CDO, Lewis will lead the foundation’s development and fundraising efforts, driving philanthropic partnerships and the foundation’s mission to energize, mobilize, and support Black women in transforming their health and lives.
Lewis previously served as vice president of development and communications at the Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance.
