Feeding Wisconsin hires new executive director

Feeding Wisconsin, the statewide association of Feeding America food banks, announced that Jackie Anderson has been hired as its new executive director. In her new role, Anderson will oversee the organization’s advocacy, outreach, and coalition-building efforts to support its member food banks’ work to end hunger in Wisconsin.

Anderson  has worked in the nonprofit sector for more than 25 years. For two decades with the YMCA of the USA, she was responsible for leading initiatives focused on food security and youth development at the national and state levels. She was also the director of Raising Wisconsin, where she led advocacy efforts focused on a statewide investment in child care.

Anderson earned a bachelor’s degree in education from Eastern Illinois University and recently completed the Wisconsin Women’s Network Policy Institute.
