Neighbors in the area around a proposed nine-story apartment building at 412 E. Washington Ave. are being invited to weigh in on the project by attending an Oct. 1 meeting, according to a Wisconsin State Journal story.
The discussion will focus on the revised proposal by LZ Ventures to develop the parcels of land around the former Klinke Cleaners on East Washington Avenue. The original proposal for a 10-story building was denied by the Plan Commission in August. The nine-story proposal seeks to demolish seven existing structures from 402–414 E. Washington Ave. to create 148 living units and 1,226 square feet of commercial space.
