The Wisconsin Department of Health Services has officially activated the federal government’s pharmacy distribution program for the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine, according to a statement from Gov. Tony Evers office.
The partnership between the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the national pharmacy chains Walgreens and CVS will enable the program to utilize on-site vaccination of residents and staff of long-term care facilities beginning Dec. 28, 2020.
