Construction of the future Milwaukee Bucks arena will involve several familiar names:
Mortenson Construction, which is headquartered in Minnesota but with offices in Madison and Brookfield, has been selected as the general contactor for the $500 million, 714,000-square-foot arena. Eppstein Uhen Architects is part of the design team.
JP Cullen & Sons was hired by the NBA basketball franchise to build the team’s new $25 million to $30 million practice facility in downtown Milwaukee.
In addition, J.H. Findorff & Son will lead the construction of the Bucks’ new parking structure development, a project expected to cost around $35 million.
Construction on the arena is slated to begin in July with the facility available for the 2018-2019 NBA basketball season.
