Dane County Regional Airport will receive grants totaling $5.7 million from the Federal Aviation Administration for infrastructure improvements. Widening taxiways and improvements to runway signage are among the planned upgrades.
The federal grants are part of a larger $3.18 billion Airport Improvement Program, according to a Department of Transportation release.
