Explosion on Madison’s southwest side injures four, displaces many more

An explosion at Windsor Condominiums on Gammon Road and Park Ridge Drive Tuesday night injured at least four people and displaced several more, according to the Wisconsin State Journal. The explosion occurred just before 6 p.m. and impacted at least six units. 

The response resulted in the shutdown of Gammon Road for several hours. Many displaced residents were given temporary accommodations by the American Red Cross. 

The cause and estimated damage of the explosion were not immediately clear to responders.
