Retail experts say inflation and supply chain disruptions will affect Black Friday, according to a report from NerdWallet. During the day-after-Thanksgiving sale, this year landing on Nov. 26, shoppers are likely to see the following:
- Supply chain issues will cause delays or shortages of items;
- Online sales will outpace in-store sales as Black Friday trends toward an online shopping day rather than an in-person event;
- Shoppers will get more sleep as shopping moves online; and
- Holiday sales will start early and last for a longer time.
