Expanded Madison Night Market returns next week

The Madison Night Market will return next week with additional space for vendors and visitors as it expands to North Carroll and West Mifflin streets on the Capitol Square, according to WMTV15. It will retain its usual locations on State and Gilman streets.

The market will run on Thursday, May 9, from 5–9 p.m. and return on June 13, Aug. 8, Sept. 12, and Oct. 17. This year’s market will feature over 110 local artisans and food vendors, live music, visiting food trucks, and pop-up restaurants. 

Next week’s music lineup includes:

  • Mideast Salsa from 5–6:30 p.m. and Angela Puerta from 7–9 p.m. on the Peace Park Music Stage at 452 State St.;

  • Eric De Los Santos from 5–9 p.m. at the corner of the Capitol Square and State Street; 

  • Wend O’Lynn from 5–7 p.m. on the 200 block of State Street;

  • Rebecca Murray at 6 p.m. at the Frances Street Plaza; and

  • Idealdaze from 7–9 p.m. in the Gilman Street food cart alley.
