The South Central Wisconsin MLS reported that December’s existing home sales increased 23% year-over-year. There were 380 home and condo sales in December, compared to 308 a year earlier, and though inventory continues to fall, December’s median sales price in Dane County dropped another 3% to $193,950. For all of 2012, Dane County’s home sales increased 27% to their highest level since 2007, but the median sales price decreased 3% to $200,000, from $206,350 in 2011.
