Madison-based Exact Sciences has acquired San Diego-based Biomatrica, a company that develops, manufactures, and provides sample preservations technology to the biotech industry. Exact Sciences plans to use the company’s proprietary technology to support ongoing and future development of its own blood-based cancer detection tests, according to a release.
Financial terms were not released, and Biomatrica will remain in San Diego.
