Exact Sciences has acquired OmicEra Diagnostics, a German biotech startup, for approximately $15 million, according to a Wisconsin State Journal report. The company has created technology that helps its clients research and discover biomarkers that signal the presence of cancer in the human body through the large-scale analysis of proteins. The deal closed May 2 and will allow Exact Sciences to expand its early detection of cancer research.
