Exact Sciences, which is awaiting approval from federal regulators for its non-invasive stool-based test for colon cancer, is moving ahead with a laboratory at 145 E. Badger Road. The lab would supplement the company’s west side location in University Research Park. In a clinical trial of 10,000 patients, Exact Science’s test correctly diagnosed colon cancer in 92% of cases and found pre-cancerous polyps in 42% of the patients.
