Alan Schade, a former salesman for Hustad Cos. in the town of Blooming Grove, has been charged with stealing more than $200,000 from roofing customers.
Schade was working under contract for the roofing company and allegedly deposited customer checks for hail damage repair into an HCI Construction account, which authorities later learned was listed in his own name with the State of Wisconsin and the Internal Revenue Service. He was charged with felony theft in a business setting and released on a signature bond.
