Gov. Tony Evers signed Assembly Bill 406, now 2021 Wisconsin Act 59, which prevents the increase of unemployment insurance (UI) contribution rates, according to a release from the administration. The UI rates will remain in Schedule D in tax years 2022 and 2023. The lost revenue will be offset by $60 million in general purpose revenues to be transferred to the trust fund in each of the next two fiscal years.
