Evers expands COVID-19 contact tracing efforts

The Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) has trained an additional 401 contact tracers over the last two months and will be scaling up to match expanded testing in the state, according to a release from Gov. Tony Evers’s administration.

DHS received over 1,000 applications and interviews begin next week. The goal of DHS is to have 1,000 tracers statewide.
