Governor Tony Evers said Friday small businesses and nonprofits affected by severe weather last August should apply for federal disaster loans through the U.S. Small Business Administration.
Economic Injury Disaster Loans from the SBA are available for Wisconsinites and businesses that experienced damage on Aug. 9 through Aug. 12 of 2025.
The loans are available to small businesses, small agricultural cooperatives and more, and may cover payroll, accounts payable and other bills not paid due to the disaster. It does not need to cover physical damage costs.
The deadline for applications is June 11.
