Evers appoints Madison doctor to naturopathic board

Gov. Tony Evers announced seven appointments, including Dr. David Kiefer of Madison, to the Naturopathic Medicine Examining Board, according to a release from the administration. The board was established under Wisconsin Act 130, a bipartisan law related to the regulation and licensure of naturopathic doctors, including the creation of the seven-member examining board. In addition to Kiefer, a primary care physician whose term ends on July 1, 2025, newly appointed members are:

  • Dr. Allison Becker of Evansville, a naturopathic doctor;
  • Dr. Robert Coleman of Fond du Lac, a naturopathic doctor;
  • Dr. Jill Crista of Janesville, a naturopathic doctor;
  • Robyn Doege-Brennan of Janesville, a public member; 
  • Kristine Nichols of Whitewater, a public member; and
  • Dr. Paul RattĂ© of Viroqua, a naturopathic doctor.
