Gov. Tony Evers on Wednesday announced the next round of grant funding for the Non-State Grant Program to support local infrastructure improvement and community development projects across Wisconsin.

The $50 million program, created by Gov. Eves in 2023, aims to promote community development by supporting local organizations undertaking construction projects that bolster economic and community development, Wisconsin’s infrastructure and the overall quality of life in the state.

To be eligible for a grant, organizations must secure funding from non-state revenue sources covering at least half of the total project cost and be ready for construction. Due to anticipated high demand, project awards will be capped at $2 million.
