Evers announces $350 million in funding for key projects

The state of Wisconsin Building Commission approved approximately $350 million in key projects across the state this week, paving the way for renovation and expansion of buildings for University of Wisconsin students, according to a release from the governor’s office. Project approvals include:  

  • Improvements at the Central Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery; 
  • Phase 2 of a utility replacement project at Bascom Hall/Lathrop Drive; 
  • Construction of the University of Wisconsin–Madison’s Veterinary Medicine addition and renovation; and 
  • Construction of eight maintenance and repair projects located at various locations in five counties across the state for the Departments of Corrections, Health Services, Natural Resources, and the UW System.
