Escape This was one of Madison’s very first escape rooms, and is closing May 2 after more than 10 years of locking groups into challenging rooms filled with puzzles.
Escape This, run by Renee and Chris Thomas, started up in late 2015.
They are closing the business at 120 E. Wilson St. #2 because the building owner plans to repurpose their space for amenities for the upstairs hotel, The Wilson by Voyageur Stays.

According to a statement, over 14,000 games were played at the location.
