A federal judge in Florida has dismissed a whistleblower case filed against Epic Systems on the grounds the plaintiff did not prove evidence of fraud.
Geraldine Petrowski filed the claim in 2015 alleging that Epic’s software allowed for the Verona-based company to double bill the government for Medicaid and Medicare-covered services, but U.S. Judge James Moody disagreed.
