The case of Long v. Epic, one of three class-action lawsuits filed against the Verona-based company about overtime pay, has reportedly been settled, according to The Capital Times. Terms will not be disclosed while the other two are still in the courts.
One of those cases, Lewis v. Epic, is currently before the U.S. Supreme Court.
In other local legal news, Energizer’s lawsuit against Middleton-based Rayovac was settled out of court.
Energizer had filed a lawsuit in December against Spectrum Brands charging Rayovac with trademark infringement for using packaging that closely resembled its own. Terms of the settlement were not disclosed.
