Epic Systems Corp. of Verona agreed to purchase the iconic Ella’s Deli merry-go-round and all of the toys and art from the beloved ice cream parlor and restaurant, which closed in January after 41 years.
Epic did not purchase the restaurant building, which remains on the market for $1.2 million including a rental property next door. Owners Ken and Judy Balkin are holding an equipment auction on July 26, according to a Wisconsin State Journalreport.
