Epic Systems has called a lawsuit in Texas a partisan attack and has petitioned to dismiss it, the Wisconsin State Journal reports.
A lawsuit was filed in Tarrant County Texas, and Epic said it failed to find “anticompetitive, deceptive or illicit” behaviors by the company. Epic said the lawsuit relied on “biased” sources.
Epic also hit out at the state of Texas, saying it did not find any legitimate legal basis to support the claims.
The lawsuit was filed in December by Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton alleging Epic ran a monopoly and actively stifled competition. He also called Epic a “woke” company.
