According to a University of Wisconsin–Madison statement released earlier this month, Epic Systems will endow three faculty associate positions in the university’s computer sciences department.
The newly created endowed positions will go to professors teaching software development, application design, and user experience, and the new faculty positions will be endowed in perpetuity.
Faculty for two of the positions are expected to be hired this spring, and begin teaching in fall 2016; the remaining faculty position is slated to start in fall 2017.
