Verona-based Epic Systems Corp. is purchasing the Rochester, Minn., data center of health care giant Mayo Clinic, the Milwaukee Business Journal reports.
The deal is for $46 million and involves Mayo leasing its 62,000-square-foot building back from Epic for a period of four years, with an option to continue the deal indefinitely.
Epic is in the process of replacing Mayo’s existing electronic health record and revenue-cycle systems, which should be completed in 2017.
