After a letter from public health officials questioned Epic’s mandated employee return to campus, the company has adjusted its requirements for employees.
Epic had told employees that they were required to return to the company campus in Verona in phased groups and all employees would be back to in-person work by Nov. 2. In a recent letter to Public Health Madison & Dane County, the company says it has modified the policy so that employees are not required to return and the company sought guidance from PHMDC to make sure it is in compliance with COVID-19 emergency orders.
