Partnership for a New American Economy, a national group comprised of Republican, Democratic, and Independent mayors and business leaders in support of immigration reforms, compiled information on the immigrant population based on U.S. Census Bureau data.

Wisconsin has over 274,300 immigrant residents, of which about 13,000 are entrepreneurs.

Of 48,561 immigrant residents residing in the Second Congressional District, which includes Dane County, Iowa, Lafayette, Sauk, Green, and portions of Richland and Rock counties, 1,205 are entrepreneurs.
