Waunakee-based steel fabricator Endres Manufacturing Co. was recognized for its steel fabrication work on the University of Wisconsin–Madison Natatorium project, according to a release from the company. The UW Natatorium Project was selected as a project of the year by the Steel Plus Network, a business network of structural steel fabricators and suppliers from across North America. Construction is expected to be complete on the Natatorium, which will include a 25-yard recreational pool, eight basketball courts, an ice sheet, expanded fitness areas, multipurpose studios, and an indoor jogging track, in 2023.
