Forty-three nonprofit agencies applied for grant support from the Endres Foundation in May, with a total request amount of $603,749.
Funds available allowed about a third of the requests to be fulfilled, and 25 grants were awarded with a giving total of $206,850. This includes four annual pledges, plus an additional $100,000 pledge to the River Food Pantry expansion in the next two years.
Endres Manufacturing Company also encourages philanthropy among its employees and matches their personal gifts up to $5,000 per employee.
