Downtown Madison bookstore A Room of One’s Own will soon have a new ownership group comprised of two employees and an award-winning author, who formed a partnership to buy the store from majority shareholders Sandi Torkildson and Nancy Geary, according to a story in the Wisconsin State Journal.
Employees Gretchen Treu and Jes Lukes, together with silent partner and award-winning author Patrick Rothfuss from Stevens Point, plan to finalize the sale of the bookstore at 315 W. Gorham St. on June 30.
