Employees of Four Star Video Heaven, 449 State St., have purchased the business from owner Lisa Brennan. The employees were able to complete the buyout with the help of a successful crowdsourcing campaign that netted them $7,680, enough for a down payment. Brennan announced in February that she’d be leaving, prompting the employees to launch a financing campaign through Indiegogo. They took ownership on Aug. 1.
