The Dane County COVID-19 Emergency Fund Committee announced 39 recipients of the first round of emergency relief funds, according to a story on Madison365.com.
The initial $425,000 was earmarked for immediate needs created by the COVID-19 crisis such as medical, food, transportation, housing, and financial hardships for organizations. In one week, the fund raised a total of $1.1 million.
