Nickles Electric and Electric Construction Inc. announced they will merge and become Nickles Electric Construction on Jan. 1 of next year. Madison-based Nickels Electric has been an electrical services provider for over 100 years and Fitchburg-based Electric Construction Inc. is a design-build electrical contractor operating for over 45 years. The merger will combine more than 130 employees in the south-central Wisconsin area.
