Edgewood College continues to expand its doctoral degree programs with the launch this fall of the fully-online Doctor of Business Administration degree (DBA). The new program joins the doctoral degrees in Educational Leadership and the Doctor of Nursing Practice degree.
Edgewood College received formal accreditation for the new terminal degree program in early January. The Higher Learning Commission is scheduled to publish the accreditation on its website by the end of February. Unlike a Ph.D. program, which is geared toward academia and theoretical research, a DBA focuses on applied research. Doctoral students will enhance their critical reasoning skills for practical use in developing pragmatic solutions to problems in the business world.
