A legal issue between J.H. Findorff & Son and its contractors now has The Edgewater Hotel facing over $6.5 million in construction liens, according to a report in The Cap Times.

At least eight liens have been filed thus far, first, by Fond du Lac-based J.F. Ahern for $2.86 million, followed by liens from Middleton Insulation, Nickles Electric of Madison, Howard Grote & Sons of McFarland, Kane Innovations, and Zander Solutions.

Reportedly, the liens have no effect on the hotel’s operations or finances.

Also, Amy Supple, senior vice president and COO, has replaced Ron Morin, an award-winning hotelier who spent 29 years in Asheville, N.C., before being hired by The Edgewater in 2014.
