Environmental Chemistry Consulting Services (ECCS), a Madison-based provider of mobile laboratory services across the U.S., has been acquired by Pace Analytical, a Minnesota environmental testing firm.
ECCS has operated independently from its base in Madison since 1991 and has built a fleet of mobile laboratories and the skill set to build laboratories for customer projects anywhere around the world. The union of the two companies offers an additional service and geographic location for Pace customers.
Nick Nigro, president of ECCS, will continue to lead his team at its Madison facilities and will work closely with Pace Analytical laboratories and customers around the U.S.
The mobile laboratory business will be known as the ECCS Division of Pace Analytical Services Inc.
