Dane Buy Local announced that the fifth annual Eat Local, Give Local restaurant event will be held Thursday, Aug. 19. The all-day event features 38 participating restaurants where 10% of the restaurant tab will go to supporting local businesses through Dane Buy Local. Dane Buy Local supports more than 600 member businesses that employ more than 8,000 full-time workers, donate more than 145,000 volunteer hours, and contribute more than $ 5.2 million to nonprofit organizations.
