Easterseals Wisconsin, which provides services that help children and adults with disabilities gain greater independence, hosted its annual campaign fundraiser, Wonderfully Human, on March 12 at Garver Feed Mill.
The organization celebrated 100 years of service by raising more than $270,000, setting a fundraising record.
“We were deeply moved by the support we received. Each year we are astonished by the generosity of others, but this year was exceptional,” Paul Leverenz, president and CEO of Easterseals Wisconsin, said in a statement. “There was such excitement and energy in the room, it’s hard to describe the feeling. We are ready to launch into the next century of service with this momentum behind us.”
Easterseals Wisconsin will host its next event on July 12 from 1-4 p.m. at Fawn Creek Winery.
