East West Manufacturing, a technology manufacturer, announced the acquisition of Scanalytics on Tuesday.
Scanalytics makes smart flooring and building intelligence solutions. The Madison company will retain its brand and operate as a product division of East West.
The acquisition expands East West’s range of products, including smart flooring across professional and consumer markets.
“Scanalytics represents a natural extension of East West’s mission to help innovative technology companies successfully bring connected products to market,” East West vice president Robert Cross said in a statement. “Their smart flooring technology solves real-world challenges in building automation and energy management, and our vertically integrated manufacturing and distribution platform allows us to scale these solutions efficiently and responsibly.”
The statement said the acquisition underscores East West’s continued investment in connected devices, Internet of Things and innovative infrastructure, reinforcing its position as a full-solution partner for organizations commercializing complex hardware products at scale.
