LZ Ventures would like to demolish several buildings in the 400 block of East Washington Avenue to bring another 10-story tower to the booming Cap East District.
As proposed, the building would offer 160 market-rate apartments, commercial space, and underground parking, according to a story in the Wisconsin State Journal.
It would require the demolition of several older buildings and three houses around the corner on North Hancock and North Franklin streets, as well, and bring development closer to the Capitol Square. A neighborhood meeting is scheduled for Jan. 30 at 6 p.m.
