The Wisconsin Technology Council released its 2016 edition of “The Wisconsin Portfolio,” which showed positive gains year over year.
Among them:
- At least 128 early state companies in the state raised investment capital in 2015 — an increase of 13% — with investments totaling more than $209 million.
- Forty-six deals were reported at over $1 million, with the average deal size increasing to $1.6 million.
- About 14% of Wisconsin deals were women-led companies, matching the U.S. average.
