The Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services (DSPS) has partnered with Tyler Technologies to offer a new digital licensing tool that lets the state’s occupational license holders carry their credentials wherever they go. DSPS is the first multioccupation licensing agency in the country to offer a downloadable digital license for its credential holders.

Wisconsin DSPS administers more than 240 professional licenses, from doctors and nurses, to realtors, to electricians. The Digital Wallet Card is free to professionals licensed through the department and is an additional option to a printed copy of the license.

To download a digital copy of their credential, license holders can log into their LicensE account from their cellphone and download a copy of their credential to their Apple Wallet or Google Wallet.

The front of the card includes information like their name, profession, license number, and license status. The back side has more information on any specialties and the license expiration date.
