Fresco restaurant, at 227 State St., has notified the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development that it has closed temporarily and has laid off 16 workers, most of whom held wait staff positions.
The restaurant stated they are anticipating rehiring some or all of the workers when the restaurant can reopen.
