Downtown Madison Inc. announces I.D.E.A. Series event later this month

Downtown Madison Inc. announced the latest event in the I.D.E.A. Series, an event series consisting of presentations and facilitated discussions about inclusion, diversity, equity, and accessibility. The goal of the series is to connect, share information, and learn best practices.

On Monday, Sept. 23 from 1:45–3 p.m., the UW South Madison Partnership at 2238 S. Park St. will host an event focused on the topic of employee resource groups. There will be a networking portion from 1:45–2 p.m., followed by a program from 2–3 p.m.

Panelists at the event will include Angela Russell, chief diversity officer–Diversity, Equity and Inclusion at TruStage, and Shiva Bidar-Sielaff, associate dean for Diversity and Equity Transformation at the UW School of Medicine and Public Health, and vice president of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion at UW Health.
