Café CODA has opened at the Fountain in Madison, which has dual entrances at 122 State St. and 113 W. Dayton St.
The club is a long-time dream of Hana Jon Taylor, a jazz club musician who has hopes of making Madison a stop on national and even international talent tours. Taylor is also planning to offer programming such as improvisational jam sessions, and programs for high school and college-age musicians.
The venue also has drums, a piano, and other equipment on site that can be used by musicians, according to the Wisconsin State Journal. A grand opening is scheduled for March 4.
