The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) is accepting nominations for the Recycling Excellence Awards, which recognize outstanding recycling efforts, innovation, and performance by Wisconsin communities, nonprofits, schools, and businesses, according to Channel3000. Food waste recovery or diversion programs are eligible as well.
There are four separate categories of awards — overall programs, projects and initiatives, innovation, and special events. Entrants can self-nominate or submit an application on behalf of another program. Nominations should include supporting materials like outreach samples, data, high-resolution photographs, etc.
The nomination form and additional information is available here.
