Disney to lay off nearly 1,000 workers

The house of Mouse is expected to lay off 1,000 employees, CNBC reported.  

The report said most cuts are expected to come from the marketing department and come as new CEO Josh D’Amaro looks to cut costs.  

Disney cut 7,000 jobs in 2023 after Bob Iger returned as CEO.
