The Wisconsin Association for Perinatal Care board of directors announced Wednesday that Diamond D. Williams is its new executive director, effective June 1.
A statement from WAPC said Williams showed a “strong understanding of Wisconsin’s perinatal landscape and a clear commitment to strengthening partnerships across clinical systems, public health, community organizations and families.
Willliams’ “leadership reflects WAPC’s mission to improve the health and well-being of mothers, infants, children and families through education, collaboration and advocacy,” according to a press release.
During the hiring process, Janalle Goosby served as interim executive director.
Williams was recently chosen as one of In Business Madison’s 40 Under 40 honorees for her exceptional leadership and service to the community.
